I had a professor in college who used to start every day by making us write for the first 10 minutes of class. No rules or guidelines, just throw down the random thoughts that whirled in your head. Spilling ink, making random doodles, and exploring my thoughts, I would often find from this exercise, a whole new spark of creativity... This is my spilled ink.

//ANTHONY GREEN / MACBETH PROMO
I came across this promotional comp I designed for Macbeth Shoe Co. featuring Anthony Green from Circa Survive, a few years ago for the 2009 fall collection, after going though a bunch of my old files yesterday. The theme of that promotional treatment was ‘apocalyptic / end of the world’ - which ended up being soooo much fun for me to mess around with.  It was slightly ironic, because I had just gotten off a tour with Circa Survive when this job came through, so working on this series of comps of Anthony was a bit more unique then the rest.
However, this particular design didn’t end up making the cut and went immediately into my archive folders..  in which I haven’t returned to it since - until yesterday. So I figured I would give it some life and post it up on my blog.
I might just end up making a ‘series’ of designs that were not used and start posting them up on this blog.  But I’ll have to think of a cleaver name.. suggestions are greatly welcomed.
